The UPSC Result 2025 was officially declared on March 6, 2026, revealing that Anuj Agnihotri has secured the prestigious All India Rank 1. This year, a total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment through the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 process.
Agnihotri achieved the highest final total marks of 1071 out of a possible 2025, with his mains examination score reaching 867. The examination structure included a Mains Written Examination worth 1750 marks and a Personality Test worth 275 marks, underscoring the rigorous selection process for civil services in India.
Among the top performers, Rajeshwari Suve M and Akansh Dhull also made it to the top 10 rankers, reflecting a competitive year for aspirants. The highest interview marks were awarded to Tejaswini Singh, who secured 225 marks and achieved All India Rank 62.
The official UPSC 2025 Marksheet PDF is now available on the UPSC website, allowing candidates to review their performance. Candidates can download their marksheet from March 11 to April 11, 2026, providing them with detailed insights into their scores.
This year’s results come amidst ongoing discussions about the challenges faced by candidates during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Supreme Court recently dismissed a plea for additional attempts for candidates affected by the pandemic, emphasizing the need for fairness in the examination process.
The UPSC CSE 2025 examination has once again highlighted the importance of preparation and resilience among aspirants. The results not only confirm the achievements of the recommended candidates but also serve as a benchmark for future aspirants to gauge their performance against the top rankers.
As the UPSC continues to be a significant gateway to public service in India, observers are keenly watching how these results will influence the next cycle of examinations and the aspirations of future candidates. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any changes to the examination format or policies in response to the ongoing challenges faced by candidates.
