The results for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 selection test have been declared on March 17, 2026. This year, more than 2 million students appeared for the entrance test, which is a significant increase in participation compared to previous years.

Students can check their results on the official website navodaya.gov.in. Alongside the results, the official cutoff list will be released in PDF format, providing essential information for candidates regarding their eligibility for admission.

The expected cutoff marks for various categories have been outlined. For the General category, the expected cutoff is approximately 73% (ranging from 73 to 80 out of 100). Other Backward Classes can expect a cutoff around 69% (69 to 75 out of 100), while Scheduled Castes have an expected cutoff of about 63% (63 to 68 out of 100). Scheduled Tribes are anticipated to have a cutoff of approximately 58% (58 to 63 out of 100).

Following the announcement of results, selected candidates will receive communication via SMS and Speed Post, ensuring that they are informed of their admission status promptly. Candidates must also prepare to submit various documents for admission after selection.

The Phase 2 entrance test is scheduled for April 11, 2026, with results for this phase expected to be declared by May 2026. This upcoming test will provide another opportunity for students who did not qualify in the first phase.

The results for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 selection test are processed based on the number of candidates and competition in each district. This method ensures a fair assessment of students across different regions.

As the education community awaits the results of the Phase 2 entrance test, officials emphasize the importance of the selection process in providing quality education to students in rural areas.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding any changes in the admission process or criteria for the upcoming academic year.
