In Group C, a tight battle is unfolding between Brazil, Morocco, and Scotland, all of whom could potentially advance depending on the outcomes of their matches.

Brazil faced Scotland in a crucial encounter. Brazil, five-time World Cup winners, were looking to secure their place in the Round of 32. Scotland, on the other hand, aimed to qualify for the knockout rounds for the first time in their history. Coming into the match, Scotland was third in Group C with three points following a 1-0 loss to Morocco, needing at least a draw or a narrow loss against Brazil to progress from the group stage.

Earlier, Ismael Saibari had another opportunity but slid the ball just wide while stretching for a cross. Morocco controlled possession for periods, attempting to get back into the game, but registered only two shots in the first half. Haiti later retook the lead through another goal from Wilson Isidor. The match saw a lot of physicality, with officials allowing play to continue, leading to frustration from both sides over uncalled fouls.

Mexico is the only team playing on Wednesday that has already secured a knockout-round spot, having won Group C. South Korea will be aiming for a win against South Africa to secure their own place in the Round of 32.
