RRB NTPC City Intimation for 2026 Exam

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced that the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level Computer Based Test (CBT) 1 exam will be conducted from March 16 to 27, 2026. As part of the examination process, candidates will be able to download their city intimation slips starting from March 12, 2026, four days prior to the exam.

The city intimation slip is an essential document for candidates, as it includes vital information such as the candidate’s name, date of birth, registration number, and the exam date. Candidates must log in using their registration number and date of birth to access and download the city slip from the RRB regional websites. This slip is crucial for planning travel arrangements ahead of the examination.

It is important to note that while the city slip provides the location of the exam, the complete address and reporting time will be detailed on the admit card, which will be available for download shortly before the exam date. The admit card will be released four days prior to the exam, ensuring candidates have sufficient time to prepare.

The RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 1 exam consists of three sections: general awareness, mathematics, and general intelligence and reasoning. Candidates will face a total of 100 questions during the exam, which is designed to assess their knowledge and skills relevant to the positions being filled. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes for regular candidates and 120 minutes for candidates with disabilities (PwBD).

In terms of scoring, the marking scheme stipulates that one-third of a mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer, emphasizing the importance of accuracy in responses. This structure aims to encourage candidates to answer questions they are confident about while being cautious with their guesses.

The recruitment process for RRB NTPC includes multiple stages, starting with the CBT 1 exam, followed by a second CBT and skill tests for certain posts. This multi-tiered approach is designed to ensure that candidates are thoroughly evaluated for their suitability for the various graduate-level positions within Indian Railways.

As the exam date approaches, candidates are advised to stay updated on any announcements from the RRB regarding the examination process. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any changes to the schedule or procedures, so candidates should regularly check the official RRB websites for the latest information.
