The event saw participation from various states, with a total of twenty-five grapplers representing Arunachal Pradesh.

In a remarkable display of talent and determination, Arunachal Pradesh emerged as the champion of the championship, securing the top position. West Bengal followed closely, finishing in second place, while Bihar claimed the third position. This outcome highlights the competitive spirit and the growing interest in grappling within the region.

Sports Minister Kento Jini was present at the event to distribute prizes to the winners, emphasizing the importance of such championships in fostering sportsmanship and encouraging youth participation in athletics. The minister’s involvement underscores the government’s commitment to promoting sports at all levels.

Gautam Gambhir, a notable figure in Indian sports, expressed his excitement about the event, stating, “This is Gautam Gambhir’s dream team.” His enthusiasm reflects the growing recognition of grappling as a significant sport in India. Observers noted that this championship is not merely a cup-winning moment but a historic occasion that could pave the way for future athletes.
