RTE Online: Rajasthan Lottery Result 2026 Announced
RTE Online Lottery Result 2026 Released
The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE online lottery result for 2026, revealing that over 6.3 lakh applicants participated in the admission process for free seats in private schools. This lottery system is a crucial mechanism under the Right to Education Act, aimed at ensuring access to education for children from economically weaker sections.
Selected students are required to complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. Parents can check the lottery results on the official RTE Rajasthan website rajpsp.nic.in. The application process for free admission began on February 20 and concluded on March 10, 2026.
A total of 19,92,357 applications were received for admissions across 33,137 private schools in Rajasthan, highlighting the high demand for educational opportunities. The lottery system is designed to ensure a fair selection process, allowing parents to choose up to five schools during the application.
To complete the admission process, selected students must provide several documents for verification, including an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable. Schools will verify these documents until March 25, 2026, ensuring that all necessary criteria are met before students begin classes.
Classes for all admitted students are scheduled to commence on April 1, 2026. Additionally, parents have the option to change the order of their selected schools until March 16, 2026. If there are any vacant seats after the first round of allotment, a second phase of school allotment will take place on April 7, 2026.
Parents can also register grievances regarding admissions on the RTE portal until April 2, 2026, ensuring that any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. This process is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance transparency and accountability in the education sector.
The selection of students for free seats in private schools through this lottery system has been a significant development in Rajasthan’s educational landscape. As the process unfolds, observers are keenly watching how the implementation will affect access to education for underprivileged children in the state. Details remain unconfirmed regarding the exact number of students who will ultimately secure admission.
