RRB NTPC Admit Card Release
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially released the RRB NTPC admit card for the year 2026 on March 12, 2026. This announcement comes as a significant update for candidates who have been eagerly awaiting their admit cards for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate Level Computer-Based Test 1 (CBT 1) examination.
Prior to this development, candidates were uncertain about the exact timeline for the release of the admit cards, which had been a topic of speculation. Many anticipated that the cards would be issued closer to the exam dates, which are scheduled from March 16 to March 27, 2026.
Details of the Exam
With the release of the admit card, candidates can now download it from the official website, rrbcdg.gov.in. The admit card contains essential details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, and the address of the exam centre. It is crucial for candidates to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the exam centre.
This year, a total of 5,810 vacancies are available for the NTPC Graduate Level posts, which has heightened the competition among candidates. The CBT 1 exam will consist of 100 questions for a total of 100 marks, with a total duration of 90 minutes.
Exam Format and Special Considerations
Each day, the exam will be conducted in three shifts, allowing a large number of candidates to participate. Notably, there is a provision for negative marking, where candidates will lose 1/3 marks for each incorrect answer. Furthermore, candidates with disabilities (PwBD) are granted an additional 30 minutes to complete the exam.
As the exam approaches, candidates are advised to thoroughly review the exam format, which includes 30 questions in Mathematics, 30 questions in General Intelligence & Reasoning, and 40 questions in General Awareness. This structured approach will help them maximize their performance during the exam.
Overall, the release of the RRB NTPC admit card marks a crucial step in the recruitment process, providing clarity and enabling candidates to finalize their preparations. The RRB’s timely issuance of the admit card reflects its commitment to facilitating a smooth examination process for all candidates involved.
