Tiger Woods Involved in Rollover Crash on Jupiter Island
By Ananya Rao / 27.03.2026
Tiger Woods was involved in a rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, just after 2 p.m. on March 27, 2026. The incident occurred near 281 Beach Road, close to Woods’ residence. A Range Rover was reported to be on its side at the scene of the crash.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. As of now, it remains unclear if Woods sustained any injuries in the wreck.
This incident follows a severe crash Woods experienced in California in 2021, where he suffered multiple leg injuries and was hospitalized for three weeks. He underwent several surgeries related to those injuries, and Woods has spent months recovering from a ruptured Achilles tendon and back surgery prior to this latest crash.
Woods, now 50 years old, last competed on the PGA Tour in July 2024. His history includes a notable arrest in 2017 on suspicion of driving under the influence, for which he later pleaded guilty to reckless driving.
Woods has been a prominent figure in golf, being a 15-time major champion. His resilience has been highlighted in past statements, including his remark, “I’m lucky to be alive and also have a limb,” reflecting on his recovery from the 2021 crash.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding the cause of the current crash, and the sheriff’s office has not provided information about Woods’ condition following the incident. Observers are awaiting further updates as the investigation unfolds.
