On March 19, 2026, Dinesh Karthik and his wife, Dipika Pallikal, announced the birth of their third child, a baby girl named Raaha Pallikal Karthik. This addition to their family comes as a joyful milestone for the couple, who are already parents to twin sons, Kabir and Zian.

Dinesh Karthik, a former Indian international cricketer, retired after a distinguished career spanning over two decades. He has since taken on the role of batting coach for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Dipika Pallikal, a celebrated squash player, has made significant contributions to Indian sports. She was the first Indian woman to break into the world’s top-10 rankings in squash and has earned numerous accolades, including the Padma Shri for her achievements.

In October 2023, Dipika further enhanced her legacy by winning a gold medal in mixed doubles at the Hangzhou Asian Games, showcasing her prowess on the international stage.

The couple, who married in August 2015, expressed their joy in welcoming their daughter, stating, “With blessings in our hearts and gratitude beyond words, we joyfully welcome our precious girl into this world. Kabir and Zian are thrilled to introduce their baby sister, Raaha Pallikal Karthik. Love, Dipika & Dinesh.” This heartfelt message reflects their excitement and the love they share as a family.

As they navigate this new chapter, Karthik and Pallikal continue to balance their professional commitments with their growing family. The birth of Raaha not only adds to their personal joy but also highlights the couple’s journey together as they support each other’s careers in sports.

Currently, the family is enjoying this special time together, celebrating the arrival of their daughter while continuing to engage in their respective sports careers. The significance of this event resonates not just within their family but also among their fans and followers, who have supported them throughout their journeys.

As Dinesh Karthik continues his role in cricket and Dipika shines in squash, their family grows, symbolizing a blend of personal and professional achievements.

This sequence of events matters greatly for Karthik and Pallikal, as they embrace parenthood once again, further enriching their lives and experiences together.
