IPL 2026 Schedule

The IPL 2026 schedule has been officially announced, with the tournament set to commence on March 28, 2026. The league will feature a total of 70 matches played across 12 venues in India, marking another exciting season for cricket fans.
The opening match will see Royal Challengers Bengaluru face off against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The league phase is scheduled to conclude on May 24, 2026, with the final match taking place in Bengaluru on May 31, 2026.
Notably, the tournament will include eight double-header days, where two matches will be played in a single day. Matches on single-header days will kick off at 7:30 PM IST, while afternoon fixtures on double-header days will start at 3:30 PM IST.
Home venues for the teams have also been confirmed. Punjab Kings will host their matches in New Chandigarh and Dharamshala, while Rajasthan Royals will play four home games in Jaipur. Additionally, Royal Challengers Bengaluru will have three home matches in Bengaluru and two in Raipur.
The venues for the playoffs are yet to be announced, as the BCCI delayed the full announcement until the election dates were finalized, ensuring clarity for the remainder of the season.
As the tournament approaches, cricket enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the matchups and the excitement that IPL 2026 promises to deliver. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional changes to the schedule or venues.
