IPL Tickets Available for GT vs RR Match on April 4, 2026
By Rohan Mehta / 28.03.2026
The upcoming IPL match between the Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 4, 2026, raises an important question: How can fans secure their tickets for this highly anticipated event? Tickets are currently available for purchase on BookMyShow, with prices ranging from INR 1,000 to INR 25,000.
Fans of all ages can attend the match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which boasts a capacity of 132,000. However, tickets are required for anyone aged two years and above, and all attendees under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
This match marks the second appearance for the Rajasthan Royals in the 2026 IPL season, following their competitive rivalry with the Gujarat Titans, who previously faced each other in the IPL 2022 final. The excitement surrounding this matchup is heightened by the fact that the IPL opener on March 28 will feature the Royal Challengers Bengaluru against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
In a related development, Karnataka MLAs will receive complimentary tickets for IPL matches at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Following a meeting with Venkatesh Prasad, each MLA will receive three tickets for all upcoming games, with Deputy CM DK Shivakumar requesting two additional tickets for family members.
However, this request has sparked controversy, as Karnataka BJP President Tejasvi Surya criticized the demand for free tickets, stating, “A political class that sees power as entitlement, not responsibility, should go.” This sentiment reflects a growing concern about the privileges afforded to legislators.
Vijayendra, another political figure, emphasized that legislators should not seek special privileges, stating, “We legislators are not bigger or different from the common man. We should not be asking for special privileges.” The debate continues as the IPL season approaches.
As the excitement builds for the IPL 2026 season, fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early to avoid disappointment. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any further ticketing policies or changes that may arise as the event date approaches.
