“It is a big blow for us. Ellis is a crucial bowler, especially in the death overs. We are looking at replacements,” said Kasi Viswanathan, CEO of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), confirming the impact of Nathan Ellis’s injury on the team’s plans for IPL 2026.

Ellis has been ruled out of the tournament due to a hamstring injury, which poses a significant challenge for CSK as they prepare for their campaign.
