SRH Team 2026 Players List
By Ananya Rao / 28.03.2026
The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have made significant strides in shaping their roster for the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Prior to this development, expectations were centered around maintaining a competitive edge, particularly after a mixed performance in IPL 2025.
In IPL 2025, Virat Kohli emerged as a standout player, scoring 657 runs in 15 matches with an impressive average of 54.75 and a strike rate of 144.71. His performance set a high bar for the team, indicating a reliance on established stars to lead the charge.
Abhishek Sharma also made headlines, scoring 439 runs in 14 matches, including a remarkable innings of 141 against Punjab Kings, with a strike rate of 193.39. His explosive batting has been a crucial factor in SRH’s strategy moving forward.
Other key players included Ishan Kishan, who contributed 354 runs at an average of 35.40 and a strike rate of 152.59, and Travis Head, who added 374 runs with a strike rate of 162.60. Phil Salt also made his mark, scoring 403 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 175.98, showcasing his potential as a valuable asset in the upcoming season.
As SRH prepares for the 2026 season, they are focusing on addressing previous weaknesses, particularly in the middle-order batting and domestic pace depth. The team has recognized the need to enhance their powerplay efficiencies with the ball, which has been a point of concern in past tournaments.
The 18th season of the IPL is set to kick off with a replay of the 2016 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad, adding to the anticipation surrounding the upcoming matches.
With these developments, SRH’s strategy appears to be evolving, emphasizing a blend of experienced players and emerging talent. The performances from IPL 2025 will undoubtedly influence their decisions as they finalize the players list for 2026.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional signings or changes to the roster, but the current lineup suggests a promising outlook for the team.
