In a thrilling encounter at Wankhede Stadium, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 18 runs in yesterday’s IPL match. RCB posted a formidable total of 240 runs for 4 wickets in their 20 overs, while MI managed to score 222 runs for 5 wickets.
Phil Salt was instrumental in RCB’s victory, scoring 76 runs off just 32 balls, which included 6 sixes and 6 fours. His performance earned him the Player of the Match award. Sherfane Rutherford also made a significant contribution for MI, scoring 71 runs off 31 balls, with 8 sixes to his name.
