The project covers an area of 19,000 square feet and was planted in December 2019. It employs the Miyawaki method, which focuses on creating dense forests in urban areas. This method enhances biodiversity and improves air quality.

Viral Desai, a key figure in the project, stated, “It is truly serving as the ‘green lungs’ for the industrial belt of Surat.” The initiative addresses rising concerns over respiratory problems linked to air pollution. Studies show that higher levels of nitrogen dioxide increase asthma prevalence among children.
