On March 20, 2026, a group of eleven IAS Officer Trainees from the 2025 batch embarked on a visit to the ICAR–Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (ICAR–CCARI) in Goa. This visit was part of their winter study tour, aimed at enhancing their understanding of agricultural practices and research in India.

During their time at ICAR–CCARI, the trainees were briefed on the journey of Indian agriculture and the structure of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) system.
