Kolhan University postponed its FYUGP exams scheduled for May 2, 2026 to facilitate the smooth conduct of the NEET UG 2026 exam. The NEET exam will take place on May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in offline mode.

Key details:

A total of 611 examination centres have been established across 27 districts.

Approximately 2.09 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the exam.

The NEET UG Admit Card has been released by the National Testing Agency.

Candidates must arrive at their exam centres at least 1–2 hours before reporting time. They should also avoid carrying prohibited items such as mobile phones and electronic gadgets. The marking scheme awards +4 marks for each correct answer and deducts -1 mark for incorrect answers.

The NEET exam comprises 180 questions, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, totaling 720 marks. Candidates scoring above 650 may secure top ranks in the competitive examination.

Special trains will operate on May 3 to assist candidates traveling for the NEET exam. Jaipur has emerged as the largest exam hub among the centres.

The decision to postpone university exams aims to minimize inconvenience for students during this crucial period. As one of India’s most competitive entrance tests for medical courses, the NEET UG holds significant importance for aspiring medical students.
