The Left Front’s efforts to regain power come in the wake of its historical dominance, which has been overshadowed by recent electoral failures. In the 2021 elections, the party’s performance was dismal, winning only one seat, a stark contrast to its previous rule.

As the political landscape evolves, the CPI(M) is determined to strengthen Left forces in the state. Bose mentioned that candidates for the remaining seats will be finalized and announced within three to four days, indicating a proactive approach to the upcoming elections.
