CA Foundation Results Announced

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the results of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Foundation Examination for the January 2026 session. The results were made public on March 8, 2026, marking a significant moment for aspiring chartered accountants.

Logapriya P P topped the examination, securing the All India Rank (AIR) 1 with an impressive score of 366 marks out of 400, achieving a percentage of 91.50%. Following closely was Khushi Sikaria, who attained AIR 2 with 365 marks, translating to a 91.25% score.

In a notable achievement, three candidates shared the AIR 3 position, each scoring 361 marks. This competitive performance highlights the caliber of candidates participating in the CA Foundation examination.

The overall pass percentage for the January 2026 session stood at 19.23%. This figure reflects the challenges faced by candidates, with a pass percentage of 20.13% for male candidates and 18.26% for female candidates. These statistics indicate a highly competitive environment for those pursuing a career in chartered accountancy.

The CA Foundation examination serves as the entry-level stage for the Chartered Accountancy course. Candidates who successfully clear this examination become eligible to register for the CA Intermediate level, an essential step in their professional journey.

As candidates review their results, those who passed the CA Foundation are now required to initiate their registration for the CA Intermediate course. This next step is crucial for their progression in the field of chartered accountancy.

The ICAI’s announcement of these results follows a long-standing tradition of conducting rigorous examinations to uphold the standards of the profession. The organization continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aspiring chartered accountants in India.

Reactions to the results have begun to emerge, with many candidates expressing relief and excitement over their scores. Official statements from the ICAI are anticipated as the organization reflects on the outcomes of this examination.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional support or resources that may be provided to candidates who did not pass. The ICAI is expected to release further information in the coming days.
