The food safety commissionerate conducted a major crackdown on expired food products in Jaipur. Authorities seized and destroyed 1.5 lakh kg of expired food items, including noodles, ketchup, mayonnaise, and energy drinks, from a warehouse operating under suspicious conditions with an expired food license. Drug Trafficking Raid in Arunachal Pradesh

In a separate incident, police in Arunachal Pradesh intercepted 26 grams of heroin with a street value of Rs 1.37 lakh. The heroin was recovered from a sling bag possessed by a suspect during a police raid. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 21 (b) of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Fake ED Raid in New Friends Colony

Additionally, two individuals were arrested for staging a fake Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid in New Friends Colony, New Delhi. The suspects coerced family members and confiscated mobile devices, escaping with approximately ₹3-4 lakh and seven luxury watches. Police traced their route using over 350 CCTV feeds and recovered an ITBP Dy Commandant uniform and a fake ID card during the investigation.
