The outage impacted both the X app and website, with 52% of users in India reporting problems with the app and 38% facing issues with the website. At its peak, 1,200 users in India reported problems at 8:17 PM IST, which escalated to 4,500 by 8:30 PM IST. Meanwhile, approximately 14,000 users in the United States also reported issues.

Services were restored after approximately one hour, with reports confirming that “X is now back up and running for multiple accounts.” However, X has not publicly acknowledged the cause of the outage, leaving users and observers in the dark.
