Kkr: Kolkata Knight Riders Prepare for IPL 2026 with Key Updates

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are gearing up for their match against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2026, scheduled for March 28 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. This matchup is particularly significant as KKR looks to improve their performance after a disappointing season in 2025.

A key update for KKR is the anticipated arrival of Matheesha Pathirana, who is expected to join the team by April 6, 2026. KKR signed Pathirana for a substantial fee of Rs 18 crore, which underscores the franchise’s commitment to strengthening their squad.
