Thomas cook opens new outlet in Gwalior
New Outlet Launch
“Madhya Pradesh is an important source market for us at Thomas Cook India,” said Rajeev Kale, President & Country Head – Holidays, MICE, Visa at Thomas Cook (India) Limited. This statement underscores the strategic importance of the newly opened outlet in Gwalior, which is the company’s first in the city.
The new outlet, located in Gwalior’s city centre, expands Thomas Cook’s presence to six outlets across Madhya Pradesh. The location is expected to attract strong footfall due to its strategic positioning, catering to a wide range of customer segments including multi-generational families, couples, millennials, GenZ, and seniors.
Services Offered
The Gwalior outlet offers end-to-end travel services, including international and domestic holidays, group tours, personalized holidays, and cruises. This comprehensive service range aims to meet the diverse travel needs of customers in the region.
Gwalior’s proximity to Delhi also drives demand for domestic travel to popular destinations like Kashmir and Leh-Ladakh, further enhancing the outlet’s potential customer base.
Technological Integration
In addition to expanding its physical presence, Thomas Cook is leveraging technology to enhance customer experience. The company’s AI booking platform assists customers in planning personalized vacations in real time, making travel planning more efficient.
Partnerships for Growth
Furthermore, Thomas Cook has partnered with Booking.com to enhance accommodation solutions for corporate clients. This partnership integrates over 31 million listings across 220 countries into Thomas Cook’s corporate booking tools, providing wider accommodation choices while adhering to company policies.
Indiver Rastogi, a representative from Booking.com, stated, “Through our partnership with Booking.com, we are redefining accommodation access—expanding global choice whilst enhancing the compliance and servicing framework that enterprises require.” Mark van der Linden added, “This partnership is a strategic step in making Booking.com’s extensive global inventory truly ‘enterprise-ready’ for the Indian market.”
The launch of the Gwalior outlet represents a significant step in Thomas Cook’s strategy to deepen its presence in Madhya Pradesh and cater to the evolving travel demands of its customers.
