Rajshaladarpan.nic.in: RBSE Rajasthan Board Results 2026 on
How it unfolded
On March 24, 2026, the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) announced the results for Class 5 and Class 8 students. This year’s results marked a significant moment for students, as the board implemented new promotion criteria that required students to secure passing marks for advancement to the next grade.
The announcement revealed that Class 5 students achieved a remarkable pass percentage of 97.75%, while Class 8 students recorded a pass rate of 97.01%. These figures indicate a strong performance among students in both grades, reflecting their hard work and dedication throughout the academic year.
Historically, students in Classes 5 and 8 were often promoted to the next grade regardless of their performance. However, this year, the RBSE altered the promotion criteria, stating that only qualifying students would be promoted. This change emphasizes the importance of academic achievement and aims to enhance the overall educational standards within the state.
Students can access their results online through the official websites, including rajshaladarpan.nic.in and rajpsp.nic.in. To view their results, students need to enter their roll number. The provisional digital marksheet, which can also be accessed via DigiLocker, contains the student’s full name, roll number, subject-wise marks, and total aggregate marks.
With the results now available, schools are set to reopen on April 1, 2026, allowing students to return to their classrooms after the examination period. Following the reopening, summer vacation is scheduled to begin on May 16, 2026, providing students with a break before the next academic year commences.
The implementation of stricter promotion criteria is significant for students and educators alike, as it encourages a more rigorous academic environment. The RBSE’s decision to require passing marks for promotion aims to ensure that students are adequately prepared for the challenges of the next grade.
As the educational landscape continues to evolve, the RBSE’s focus on academic performance may lead to improved outcomes for students in the long term. The results of 2026 not only highlight the achievements of the students but also set a precedent for future academic standards within the state.
