Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 8
Prior to the latest updates, expectations for Dhurandhar 2 were high following its impressive opening week. The film had garnered a substantial ₹102 crore on its first day and continued to perform well, leading to optimism about its longevity at the box office.
However, as of day 8, the film’s performance has shown a notable shift. Dhurandhar 2 collected ₹30.06 crore on this day, a significant figure but indicative of a larger trend. The number of shows available for viewing dropped dramatically from 20,352 on Wednesday to just 4,452 by day 8, marking a 78% reduction.
This decline in show availability has directly impacted audience turnout, with the film registering an occupancy rate of approximately 16.7% across theatres. Despite this, the film’s total domestic net collection has reached approximately ₹654.03 crore, showcasing its overall success.
In a remarkable achievement, Dhurandhar 2 has surpassed the domestic lifetime collections of previous hits such as Stree 2 and Chhaava, which collected ₹713.15 crore and ₹716.91 crore respectively. The film’s total India gross collection now stands at ₹748.52 crore.
Globally, Dhurandhar 2 has crossed the ₹1,000 crore mark, with a worldwide gross collection of ₹1,006.50 crore. This milestone highlights the film’s appeal beyond domestic audiences, with reports indicating it has also crossed the ₹250 crore mark in overseas markets.
In the early hours of day 8, the film earned ₹3.34 crore, reflecting a steady stream of revenue despite the reduced number of screenings. Industry experts, including film critic Taran Adarsh, have noted the film’s strong performance, particularly in its opening week.
As Dhurandhar 2 enters its second week, the initial excitement appears to be waning, but the film’s overall earnings remain impressive. The combination of a powerful opening and sustained interest has positioned it as a significant player in the current box office landscape.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding future projections, but the film’s trajectory thus far suggests a solid standing in the competitive market of Indian cinema.
