Upprpb: UP Police Recruitment Results 2023: Final Selection Declared
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has officially released the final selection results for the posts of Police Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk, and Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts. A total of 912 candidates have been selected, including 178 female candidates, for the 921 vacancies available in this recruitment cycle.
The cutoff marks for the Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential) position are set at 316.26 for unreserved candidates, 299.57 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), and 225.04 for Scheduled Castes (SC). For the Assistant Sub-Inspector Clerk position, the cutoff for unreserved candidates is 334.61, while for Assistant Sub-Inspector Accounts, it is 318.61.
The selection process included horizontal reservations for female candidates, ex-servicemen, and dependents of freedom fighters, reflecting the board’s commitment to inclusivity in the recruitment process. The final selection lists were made available on the official UPPRPB website on March 26, 2026.
Candidates can check their results by entering their registration number and date of birth. The selection process also involved a medical examination and verification of educational qualifications, ensuring that all selected candidates meet the necessary criteria.
Out of the total selected candidates, 242 were from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Unreserved categories, while 464 candidates were selected from OBC, 197 from SC, and 9 from Scheduled Tribes (ST). This diverse selection underscores the broad representation achieved in this recruitment.
The recruitment process was conducted under the policies issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, aiming to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the police force in the state.
