NTA JEE Mains 2026 Session 2 Hall Ticket Released
Key moments
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the hall tickets for the JEE Mains 2026 session 2, which are required for candidates scheduled to take the exams on April 2 and 4, 2026. This announcement comes as the agency prepares for a series of examinations aimed at aspiring engineering students.
The JEE Mains 2026 session 2 exams will take place over a span of several days, specifically on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8 for BTech aspirants. Additionally, the exams for BArch and BPlanning admissions are scheduled for April 7. This comprehensive testing schedule reflects the NTA’s commitment to accommodating a large number of candidates.
To access their admit cards, candidates must enter their application number and date of birth on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. It is crucial for candidates to ensure that their admit cards display a visible QR code and barcode upon download, as these will be necessary for entry into the examination centers.
The morning shift for the exams will run from 9 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon session will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. This structured timing is designed to facilitate a smooth examination process for the more than 12 lakh candidates who participated in the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 exams.
Historically, the JEE Mains serves as a gateway for engineering aspirants in India, with only a fraction of candidates qualifying for the JEE Advanced. In the previous session, only 2.5 lakh candidates out of the total number were able to qualify, highlighting the competitive nature of these examinations.
The admit cards for candidates scheduled to appear on April 02 and April 04, 2026, were released on March 29, 2026. This timely release allows candidates to prepare adequately for the upcoming exams, ensuring they have all necessary documentation in order.
As the examination dates approach, candidates are urged to download their hall tickets promptly and verify all details to avoid any last-minute issues. The NTA continues to emphasize the importance of being well-prepared and informed as the examination period draws near.
