kia seltos new variants — IN news

What the data shows

The recent announcement of new variants for the Kia Seltos raises an important question: how will the GTX (O) and X-Line (O) variants enhance the existing lineup? These new trims are designed to bring highly requested features to the Seltos, further solidifying its position in the competitive SUV market.

Kia Seltos will introduce the GTX (O) and X-Line (O) variants, which will include optional features such as a heads-up display and a dashboard camera. The heads-up display was showcased during the global unveiling of the vehicle but is not currently available in any existing variants. The dashboard camera is expected to be added at the dealer level, providing additional safety and convenience for drivers.

Pricing for the new variants is anticipated to be higher than the current GTX and X-Line models, but lower than those equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This pricing strategy aims to simplify the selection process for buyers, allowing them to choose from a more streamlined set of options.

The Kia Seltos has achieved significant milestones since its launch in January 2026, including a five-star BNCAP crash test rating. The vehicle scored 31.70 out of 32 for adult occupant safety and 45 out of 49 for child occupant safety, making it one of the safest options in its class. With 24 safety features as standard across all variants, the Seltos continues to prioritize passenger safety.

The GTX variant is equipped with features such as Ice Cube LED projector headlamps and a 10-way powered driver seat, while the X-Line trim boasts black painted 18-inch alloy wheels and two-tone interiors. These features not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the vehicle but also improve its functionality and comfort.

As Kia prepares to launch these new variants, it remains to be seen whether they will also introduce GTX (O) (A) and X-Line (O) (A) trims. Additionally, the exact pricing details for the new variants are not confirmed, leaving potential buyers awaiting further information.

Overall, the introduction of the GTX (O) and X-Line (O) variants reflects Kia’s commitment to meeting consumer demands and enhancing the driving experience. By making these features optional, Kia can simplify the variant selection process for buyers, ensuring that they can find a model that suits their needs.
