BPSC AEDO Admit Card Released for 2026 Exam
The BPSC AEDO recruitment drive is significant due to the high number of applicants competing for a limited number of posts. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the admit card for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) exam on April 3, 2026. Candidates can download the admit card from the official BPSC website.
This exam is crucial as it offers 935 vacancies for the AEDO position, attracting around 9.8 lakh candidates who have applied. The written exam is scheduled to take place on April 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, and 21, 2026, and will be conducted in offline mode using an OMR-based format.
Candidates must ensure they carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. The examination will be conducted in two shifts: the morning shift from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
It is important for candidates to check their individual admit cards for exact reporting times and shift details. The admit card is available only in online mode and will not be sent via post or email.
Additionally, candidates should be aware that there will be a negative marking of 1/3rd mark deducted for each wrong answer in the exam. Each paper will consist of 100 marks, with a minimum percentage of 30 required in the qualifying paper.
The salary for the AEDO post is set at ₹29,200, making it an attractive opportunity for many applicants. As the exam dates approach, candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly and ensure they have all necessary documents ready for the examination day.
Observers expect a high level of competition given the number of applicants relative to the available vacancies. The BPSC is anticipated to conduct the exam smoothly, ensuring a fair assessment process for all candidates.
