Abhishek Bachchan Attends Trailer Launch of Raja Shivaji

Abhishek Bachchan attended the trailer launch of Raja Shivaji in Mumbai. The film is based on the life and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It is set for a worldwide release on May 1, 2026.

During the event, Riteish Deshmukh expressed gratitude to Abhishek for his support. He said, “I am very thankful to Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan and the entire team of Raja Shivaji who decided to become a part of this movie. Abhishek stood with me like a brother.” This highlights the camaraderie among the film’s cast.

In a personal reflection, Abhishek stated he would never ask his daughter Aaradhya Bachchan for her opinion on his films. “I will never ask her,” he remarked. He added that he prefers to remain in the illusion of what she might want or not want.

Abhishek also has business interests outside of acting. He is a co-founder of the European T20 Premier League (ETPL). This league will feature six franchises competing in 33 matches. The inaugural edition will take place from August 26 to September 20, 2026.
