The BMW F 450 GS combines advanced rider technologies with iconic GS design, targeting a new generation of adventure riders in India. The motorcycle is powered by a 420 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 48 hp and 43 Nm of torque. It offers a blend of performance and comfort, suitable for both city and adventure riding.

Available in three variants—Base, Exclusive, and Trophy—the F 450 GS caters to diverse rider preferences. The Base variant is priced at ₹4.70 lakh, while the Exclusive costs ₹4.90 lakh, and the Trophy variant is set at ₹5.30 lakh. Each model comes equipped with unique features tailored for different riding experiences.

The motorcycle boasts a kerb weight of 178 kg and has a seat height of 845 mm, making it accessible for various riders. It features a 14-liter fuel tank, ensuring adequate range for long rides. The bike runs on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels, providing stability on rugged terrains.

Advanced technology enhances the riding experience. The F 450 GS includes a 6.5-inch TFT display, heated grips, and adjustable levers. Riders can select from four riding modes: Rain, Road, Enduro, and Enduro Pro. These modes adjust the bike’s characteristics to suit different conditions.

Motorcycle safety features are paramount in the F 450 GS. It includes ABS Pro and Dynamic Brake Control to enhance safety during rides. Additionally, the bike features Easy Ride Clutch and Shift Assistant Pro for clutchless operation—ideal for urban environments.

Hardeep Singh Brar stated, “The new BMW F 450 GS is built for a new generation of adventure riders, as it embarks on a bold new chapter in the GS legacy.” This statement emphasizes the brand’s commitment to innovation while honoring its heritage.

The BMW F 450 GS is locally produced in India but developed in Germany. This strategic move aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian motorcycle market while catering to local demands.

The launch follows four years of anticipation marked by spy shots and speculation. As excitement builds among potential buyers, further details on customer feedback are expected soon.
