Ramakrishna ghosh

Ramakrishna Ghosh made his IPL debut for Chennai Super Kings against Mumbai Indians on May 2, 2026. He generated a remarkable profit of ₹42.84 lakh for CSK, translating to a recovery percentage of 956.8%.

Ghosh was picked by CSK in the 2025 IPL auction for his base price of ₹30 lakh. During his debut match, he took one wicket and completed one catch.

His previous performance included impressive figures of 7/42 in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Himachal Pradesh. He also scored a career-best List A knock of 73 runs from No.6 against Punjab.

Ghosh’s match cost was ₹5 lakh, while he generated a match worth of ₹47.84 lakh for CSK. This performance marks him as only the 12th player to pick seven wickets or more in a Vijay Hazare Trophy game.

In List A cricket, Ghosh has taken 21 wickets at an average of 21.45 and scored 246 runs at an average of 35.14. He has also taken 28 wickets in 13 first-class matches at an average of 33.
