Haryana Board of School Education
Madhya Pradesh’s education department will implement a new transfer policy aimed at addressing longstanding issues in the transfer process. This policy will be distinct from those in other departments.
The Cabinet is expected to approve the new transfer policy soon. The School Education Department will have its own guidelines, separate from other sectors. This marks a significant shift in how transfers are managed within the education system.
Currently, there is a transfer ban in place. However, officials plan to lift this ban for one month starting May 15, 2026. This temporary lift aims to allow teachers to apply for voluntary transfers more freely.
In addition to the transfer policy changes, upcoming examinations also hold importance. The second Class 10 board examination for CBSE will commence on May 15, 2026. Meanwhile, Maharashtra’s SSC examination results are anticipated in May 2026, following previous trends.
Key statistics:
- The current limit on voluntary transfers stands at 20 posts.
- A total of 200 posts will be available for voluntary transfers under the new policy.
- In 2025, Maharashtra registered a pass percentage of 93.04% for its SSC exam.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav emphasized the need for timely implementation of this policy. He stated, “If it had already been decided to bring the transfer policy soon, it should have been implemented by now.” Food and Civil Supplies Minister Govind Singh Rajput noted that many applications are received when MLAs are involved.
The government is also working on establishing a Traders’ Welfare Board to address traders’ issues directly with the government. This initiative aims to create a platform for better communication between traders and officials.
The coming months will be crucial as both educational policies and examination schedules unfold. These developments reflect ongoing efforts to improve the educational landscape in Madhya Pradesh and beyond.
