National T20 Cup 2026 Set to Kick Off in Peshawar

The National T20 Cup 2026 is poised to commence at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar from March 7 to March 18, 2026. This year’s tournament features a total of 10 regional teams competing for the championship, with a total prize pool of Rs. 8.5 million.

The tournament will kick off with a double header on March 7, starting at 4:15 PM and 9:15 PM, respectively. The participating teams have been divided into two groups of five. Group A consists of Lahore Whites, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Karachi Whites, and Bahawalpur, while Group B includes Lahore Blues, Sialkot, Multan, Abbottabad, and Karachi Blues.

This edition of the National T20 Cup marks the first time the tournament is being hosted in Peshawar, a city known for its passionate cricket fans. The event is organized by the Pakistan Cricket Board, which aims to promote regional talent through this domestic competition.

The total prize pool of Rs. 8.5 million will be distributed among the teams, with the winning team set to receive Rs. 5 million and the runners-up awarded Rs. 2.5 million. Additionally, individual awards for the best batter, bowler, wicketkeeper, and player of the tournament are each valued at Rs. 100,000.

The trophy for the National T20 Cup 2026 was recently unveiled at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, generating excitement among players and fans alike. The commentary panel for the tournament will feature notable figures such as Salman Butt, Aiman Anwar, Ali Younis, Shah Faisal, Raja Asad, and Imranullah, adding to the viewing experience.
