RTE 2026: Rajasthan Lottery Result Announced for Over 6.3 Lakh Applicants
RTE 2026 Lottery Results Released
The Rajasthan Education Department has announced the RTE admission lottery result for 2026, affecting over 6.3 lakh applicants. The results, released on March 12, 2026, determine which children will secure free admission under the Right to Education (RTE) Act.
Selected students must complete document verification and report to their allotted schools between March 13 and March 21, 2026. This process is crucial, as getting selected in the lottery does not guarantee automatic admission.
The application window for RTE Admission was open from February 20 to March 4, 2026, during which parents could apply for their children to secure a place in private schools.
Parents had the option to select up to five schools within their catchment area based on their preferences. The selection of students for free seats in private schools is conducted through a lottery system, ensuring a fair chance for all applicants.
To complete the verification process, parents must provide several required documents, including an income certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate, and a BPL card if applicable. The income limit for the income certificate is set at ₹2.5 lakh.
The total number of applications received for the RTE Rajasthan Lottery was 6.34 lakh, indicating a high demand for free education opportunities in the state.
Parents can check the results on the official RTE Rajasthan website rajpsp.nic.in. This online portal serves as a crucial resource for families navigating the admission process.
As the reporting period for selected students approaches, observers expect a smooth verification process, though details remain unconfirmed regarding any potential challenges that may arise.
The RTE Act aims to provide free and compulsory education to children aged 6 to 14 years, and the lottery system is a key component in achieving this goal in Rajasthan.
With the announcement of the RTE 2026 results, many families are now focused on ensuring they meet the verification requirements to secure their children’s education.
