In addition to the results announcement, BFUHS has opened recruitment for 672 Staff Nurse vacancies, a move aimed at strengthening Punjab’s public healthcare system by filling Group C nursing positions. Eligible candidates can apply online from March 13 to April 2, 2026.
Of the total vacancies, 351 posts are reserved for male candidates while 321 are designated for female candidates. Applicants must have completed their 10+2 education and hold either a GNM diploma or a B.Sc. Nursing degree to qualify for the positions.
The selection process for the Staff Nurse positions will consist of a written examination worth 90 marks, along with an additional 10 marks allocated for relevant work experience. The tentative date for this examination is set for April 19, 2026.
BFUHS’s efforts to recruit nursing staff come at a critical time as the demand for healthcare professionals continues to rise. The university’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services in Punjab reflects ongoing challenges within the public health sector.
As the recruitment process unfolds, candidates are encouraged to prepare for the upcoming examination, while the university continues to support the educational needs of its students through timely results announcements.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding the specific number of applicants expected for the Staff Nurse vacancies, but the interest in healthcare careers remains strong among graduates.
