Uppsc: UPSSC Announces JE Exam Date for 2026
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has officially announced that the Junior Engineer (Civil) exam is set to take place on May 3, 2026. This examination will fill a total of 4612 positions, marking a significant opportunity for aspiring engineers in the state.
The recruitment advertisement, numbered 08/2024, outlines the details for candidates. The exam will be conducted in an offline mode, ensuring a traditional testing environment. It is scheduled to run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing candidates a focused two-hour window to complete their assessments.
To participate in the exam, candidates are required to bring a printed admit card along with valid photo identification. This is part of the standard procedure to ensure the integrity of the examination process.
The selection process for the Junior Engineer positions is comprehensive, consisting of a preliminary exam, a mains exam, a personal interview, and document verification. This multi-stage process is designed to thoroughly evaluate candidates’ qualifications and suitability for the roles.
The UPSSSC JE Exam will be scored out of a total of 1000 marks. The first paper will assess candidates on General Hindi and English, with 75 marks allocated for language skills and 100 marks for General Intelligence. The second paper will focus on Engineering, featuring 125 questions.
Additionally, candidates will be evaluated during the interview stage, which carries a weight of 250 marks. This structured approach aims to ensure that only the most qualified individuals are selected for the available positions.
The announcement of the UPSSSC JE Exam Date is a crucial step in the recruitment process for Junior Engineers in Uttar Pradesh, reflecting the ongoing efforts to fill essential roles in the state’s infrastructure development.
As the exam date approaches, candidates are encouraged to prepare thoroughly and stay updated on any further announcements from the UPSSSC. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any changes to the exam format or additional requirements.
