A Fly91 flight from Hyderabad to Hubballi was diverted to Bengaluru on April 19, 2026, due to bad weather. The flight had 22 passengers on board, all of whom were reported safe.

The aircraft departed Hyderabad at around 3:30 PM. It was scheduled to land in Hubballi at 4:30 PM but circled the city for nearly an hour before the diversion. The plane landed in Bengaluru at around 6:30 PM.

An airport official stated, “Due to bad weather, the flight from Hyderabad to Hubballi was diverted to Bengaluru.” Fly91 emphasized that holding the aircraft and diverting it was part of standard operating procedures.

The aircraft remained airborne for nearly three hours before landing in Bengaluru. Passengers who deboarded in Bengaluru included 18 individuals who later continued their journey to Hubballi.

This incident reflects routine diversions during poor visibility or unstable weather, prioritizing passenger safety over schedule adherence. Such measures are common in aviation when facing adverse conditions.
