“As AI advances rapidly, the next few years will be hugely consequential for the world,” said Marc Warner, newly appointed Chief Technology Officer of Accenture. This statement underscores the pivotal role that artificial intelligence is expected to play in shaping industries and economies in the near future.

Warner, who is also the CEO and co-founder of Faculty, joins Accenture following the company’s acquisition of Faculty, which was first announced in January 2026. This strategic move is set to enhance Accenture’s capabilities in AI, particularly in supporting life sciences companies, including major players like Novartis.

With more than 400 staff from Faculty joining Accenture, the integration aims to bolster the firm’s technology strategy and execution. Julie Sweet, CEO of Accenture, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I look forward to working with our new CTO Marc Warner to shape our technology strategy and execution and attract the best talent in the world to meet our clients’ needs.”

Founded in 2014, Faculty has been instrumental in providing AI strategy, safety, design, and implementation services to various sectors. The acquisition aligns with Accenture’s goal to be the preferred partner for clients looking to reinvent their operations through advanced technologies.

As of November 30, 2025, Accenture reported having cash and equivalents worth $9.649 billion, positioning the company well to invest in innovative technologies and talent. The integration of Faculty’s expertise is expected to further advance Accenture’s strategy in leading the safe and widespread adoption of AI.

Warner’s appointment to the Global Management Committee of Accenture marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to harnessing AI’s potential. The collaboration between Accenture and Faculty is anticipated to drive new solutions and services that meet the evolving needs of clients across various industries.

As the landscape of technology continues to evolve, the focus on AI will likely intensify, making the next few years crucial for businesses and their strategies. The partnership between Accenture and Faculty is poised to play a vital role in this transformation.
