Jee mains result 2026 session 2
The JEE Mains Result 2026 Session 2 is set to be declared by April 20. This announcement follows the completion of the exam, which took place from April 2 to April 8, 2026.
Approximately 11.23 lakh candidates registered for this session. The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the exam across 566 centres in 318 cities.
The provisional answer key was released on April 11, allowing candidates to review their answers. They could raise objections until April 13, with a fee of 200 per question challenged.
Candidates can download their final answer key and scorecard from jeemain.nta.nic.in. They need to enter their application number and date of birth to access these documents.
The scorecard will include subject-wise percentiles in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, along with the total NTA score, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and JEE Advanced qualification status.
Admit cards for the exam were released in phases on March 29 and April 1. Attendance was notably high, with a participation rate of 93% for BTech and BE paper 1 and 73% for BArch and BPlanning paper 2.
Candidates can also check their scores on examinationservices.nic.in. NTA has made arrangements for students to challenge the answer key as per established rules.
Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to participate in JoSAA counselling after the results are announced. This counselling is crucial for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding any changes in the admission process or additional rounds of counselling that may take place following the results.
